Shoshannah White

Photographer Shoshannah White created a permanent installation that was mounted on the exterior of the University of Southern Maine's new Bioscience Research Wing in Portland. The project consists of seven large scale, laminated glass photographs which are framed in brushed aluminum and mounted to the exterior of the building. The pieces range in size from 4' x 4' to 8'x 9'  and are meant to mimic the design of existing windows. The imagery is based on the actual scientific activity within the facility - suggesting that the public has a window view into the interior life of the building.
