Smithsonian Launches New Ocean Portal

This morning,  the Smithsonian Institution’s Museum of Natural History launched its Ocean Portal. The portal, a unique, interactive online experience that inspires awareness, understanding, and stewardship of the world’s Ocean was developed by the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of Natural History and more than 20 collaborating organizations, including the Census of Marine Life. Visitors can read stories about ocean life and ecosystems, view photos and video galleries, and find resources for educators.
